Privacy policy

This policy explains how ComplyGood ("we"), operated by Solus, Ireland, handles information when a merchant installs one of our Shopify apps: ComplyGood – EU Guarantee & GPSR and EPREL Labels.
What we collect
- Store information: the shop domain and an access token Shopify provides at installation, so the app can work with your store.
- Data you enter: display settings, GARAN label details (guarantee length, brand, model identifier), GPSR profiles (manufacturer and EU responsible person names, business addresses and contact details) and product exclusions.
- Product references: product IDs, titles, handles and vendors for products you configure, and the EPREL registration numbers you link to them (EPREL Labels). Data from the public EU EPREL registry is cached so labels load quickly.
- Storefront checks: which page types showed labels, your theme's name and, when labels couldn't be placed, a sample of one product card's HTML so we can fix placement for your theme. This contains your product information only, never anything about shoppers.
- A change log of compliance settings, used to produce your evidence report.
We do not collect or store your customers' personal data. The storefront blocks display information to shoppers but send nothing about them to us.
How we use it
Only to provide the app: showing the legal guarantee notice, GARAN labels and product safety information on your store, and producing reports you request. We don't sell or share it, and don't use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
On our hosting provider (Render) and in your own Shopify store as product and app metafields. Billing is handled by Shopify.
Retention and deletion
When you uninstall, your session is deleted immediately. Shopify then sends a deletion request 48 hours later, and we delete all remaining data for your store at that point. Data stored in your store's metafields stays in Shopify under your control.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Email support@complygood.com.
